I agree a great range of dispalys from Traction engines to dogs we all enjoy.
The shame is it should extend the hours i.e from 10am for more displays and i agree the funfair broke the bank and the refreshments were robbery !
But all in alll 8/10 |

First visit. Competed in many horse shows over the year. Thoroughly enjoying everything until the afternoon. I had looked at your website and there was nothing to warn me about the two "loud bangs" sounding like artillery fire or a fireworkcoming the main display ring in the afternoon. Even the lady commenting on the shire hire competitions apologised and said "not idela for horses". My dog was terrified and I had to walk her away from the show to calm her down. I returned to join my friends later and another loud bang from the ring. What on earth was going on? You had children on ponies, livestock and lots of dogs. The whole event was marred by this one piece of inconsideration. Otherwise the morning was fine and enjoyed talking to the huntsmen, enjoyed the morotbike display and the collies rounding up the sheep and ducks. |
